Well I finally figured it out. So far today my day of cleaning, taking down the tree and hearing continual bickering has been fairly normal. But as I reflect on my morning walk in the rain/sleet I am reminded of how we cruise through life and then when we hit an icy patch we slow down and be more observant of our surroundings. I need to be more observant of my surroundings and make sure I slow down and just enjoy the moment I am in and not looking toward the next thing. Sometimes it is fine to slide on the ice like a kid versus walking all tense like an adult and falling anyway. A child would slide on the ice, laugh and be in the moment having fun instead of complaining about the weather. Oh what we can learn from our children!
